SELECT COUNT(*) FROM #Bigon a table of this size, you're shown an error message "Arithmetic overflow error converting expression to data type int." No fear though, just use the COUNT_BIG() function instead of COUNT(). Bingo: 4294967296!

I was playing around with my new installation of Windows 7 today, frustrated that I couldn't install SQL Server 2008 Management Studio Express (not yet supported), but determined to have fun.
